Rev Benson Phiri

Rev. Benson Phiri serves as an Academic Dean at Nazarene Theological College of Central Africa (NTCCA). He has served in various capacities at NTCCA (Chaplain, Registrar, Administrative Assistant) and as a faculty member for over 15 years. Areas of teaching include Systematic Theology, Ethics, Philosophy, Sociology and Wesley Studies. His current research interests focus on Wesley and Social justice, Church and Human rights, Peace and Religion. He has several journal articles lined up for publication and one already published by Langham Publishing. His research experience also includes serving as a research consultant, undergraduate, and graduate external reader. He holds a Diploma in Theology from Nazarene Theological College of Central Africa in Malawi, a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Africa Nazarene University in Kenya. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at UNICAF University and a PhD in Religion at Africa Nazarene University in Kenya.
